WOOD PELLETS
The wood pellet is wood biomass compressed into a 3.15 to 40 mm long cylinder shape with a diameter of 6 or 8 mm. It is a clean, natural, environmentally-friendly and renewable source of energy.
Wood pellets are manufactured without using any chemical substances, binding agents or added substances. They maintain their shape because they have been compressed at a high temperature, a process during which the naturally-occurring lignin in the wood becomes the substance that binds the pellet together. They are eco-friendly because as they burn, they only emit as much carbon dioxide as the trees they were made from used during their lifetime.
Wood pellets offer a substantially higher heat value than traditional firewood. They are also easier to store and transport, and take up much less space. This ecological fuel is completely natural – it simply comes in a different shape and is used a little differently. Biofuel is becoming an increasingly popular energy alternative in Lithuania, and there is no doubt that it will play a critical role in the world of tomorrow. It's no wonder that this low-pollution biofuel has become a favourite with customers both here and in the rest of the world.

What sizes of pellets do you produce?
We produce 6 mm and 8 mm wood pellets, 3.15 to 40 mm long.
What are the technical specifications?
Calorific value at least 16.5 MJ/kg, ash up to 0.5%, moisture up to 8%, bulk density at least 0.65 kg/dm³.
What are the pellets made of?
Dry, bark-free wood chips and other wood raw material from Lithuania and Latvia, sourced within 50–130 km of the plant. No chemical additives or binders: the natural lignin in the wood holds the pellets together.
How are the pellets packed?
In 15 kg bags on film-wrapped pallets, or in big bags holding 1,000–1,100 kg.

Home pellet boilers and stoves, company boiler houses, district heating companies and industry.
How much can you produce?
The plant can produce up to 20,000 tonnes a year (about 3 tonnes an hour), so we can also discuss larger long-term contracts.
Do you deliver?
We agree delivery and price case by case, depending on volume and destination. The plant is about 10 km from Bugeniai rail station and about 130 km from the ports of Klaipėda and Liepāja.
