Buy before the season
Demand for pellets peaks in autumn and winter. Many buyers therefore buy in spring or summer, when it is easier to plan delivery and choose the volume and packaging they want.
Plan your volume
Work out your annual need (see how many pellets a house needs) and add a 10–15% reserve. Make sure you have dry storage (see how to store pellets).
Packaging by volume
- 15 kg bags: for smaller volumes and where there is no forklift.
- 1 t big bags: for larger volumes; a forklift is needed for unloading.
For companies and boiler houses
Larger users benefit most from a long-term agreement with agreed volumes and a delivery schedule. See pellets for boiler houses.
